About Me

My name is Elle Gamble and I’m a newborn care specialist, gentle sleep coach and birth and postpartum doula.

What is a Doula

A doula is a nurturing and caring professional who provides informational, emotional and physical support to women throughout their pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum journey. Doula comes from the Greek word for "a woman who serves," and that is exactly what a doula does.

A doula is there to hold your hand, offer a listening ear, and provide you with comfort and reassurance during this special time in your life. They provide guidance and support as you navigate the ups and downs of pregnancy, and help you prepare for the birth of your child.

After your baby is born, a doula continues to offer support as you navigate the challenges of postpartum life. They can provide breastfeeding support, offer guidance on infant care, and be a listening ear as you adjust to life as a new parent.

A doula is a loving presence throughout your journey to parenthood, offering support, encouragement, and care every step of the way.
